Rochester?! This may seem like a random place to mention, but, if you live in North Jersey (or anywhere in the tri-state area) it really is a great road trip to take! Lots of things to see along the way! Friends of mine were staying in that area for a concert and were also going to visit a toy museum.. So, me always up for a road trip and being a lover of games and all, I thought it would be an interesting sight to see too! So, I met them up there! Mapping out my road trip, it was about a 4-5 hour drive. Seeing all the touristy stops I could see along the way through New York State made it even more exciting! Little did I know, I turned this toy museum trip into quite the action packed weekend for myself!
Adventuring around Rochester, Niagara Falls is about another hour and half away. I’ve been there before, but did not go for this trip. I did see Lake Ontario though, which is only a short distance away.

On my way back from Rochester, I drove through the Finger Lakes Region. I have never in my life seen so many wineries and distilleries! One right after the other for what feels like miles! Just to give you an idea, here’s a map!!
I also stopped at Watkins Glen State Park. It’s a beautiful park with waterfalls everywhere! It’s really pretty! A treacherous walk, so make sure you have sneakers and a water bottle!
