High Line

If you happen to be at Chelsea Market in NYC, you have to go walk the High Line. It’s about a 1.5 mile walk (rail trail). It’s an elevated railway which was transformed into a public park. It has beautiful gardens which evolve around the four seasons. Flowers and greenery to see in the spring and summer. Gorgeous foliage in autumn and holly trees in the winter. Catch panoramic views of the Hudson. Fantastic outdoor day trip for all! Top it off with some lunch at Chelsea Market!

Trail Map, not that you can get lost but…
Notice the old crank on the side (I think that’s what that is, please correct me if I’m wrong!) What is it for?!?
This old freight rail was used for the meat packing district when the district actually packed meat…
Still more rail!
