I don’t even know where to begin with this one!!! In the city… Central Park, Times Square, Broadway, Statue of Liberty, endless places to eat, endless amounts of museums and tours. I just cannot help you in this category, all I can say is, enjoy seeing all the field trips I’ve taken there (and will continue to take) and consider taking them yourself! Upstate… upstate New York has so many great long weekend trips that you can take. So many lakes to choose from. Lake George, Lake Placid, Lake Champlain. Of course let’s not forget the Finger Lakes for all of you wine lovers out there!! There are also endless amounts of ski resorts!! You don’t even have to drive hours upstate to take in the beautiful foliage, go apple and pumpkin picking, enjoy a brewery or two! You can just drive hour outside of the city right into the village of Warwick, NY! Plenty of options… Go and explore it all!
